A workshop on publishing will take place on 18 & 19 June at European Heart House, Sophia Antipolis.
This is a workshop to share experiences and best practice. The programme will cover the following topics:
- MAIN FOCUS: All things AI: Including use of AI in preparation of manuscripts, reviews of papers (Your publishers’/journals’ policy), authorship, paper mills, AI & OA: a wedding made in hell, reviewer location tools, integrity checking, image manipulation.
- eBooks: Self-publication of e-book, how is your Society handling copyright issues, indexing, other aspects to consider.
- Guidelines and official scientific output: elaboration processes
- Editorial Board gender balance: What does your journal do? How to advocate for parity?
- Measuring journal success – Beyond the Impact Factor: What can be done? What does your organisation do? Current best practice.
This workshop is restricted to AC Forum members only. There is no registration fee for this workshop.
